No More Discworld – Terry Pratchett’s daughter will leave the series “sacred”

Since the tragic Death from Alzheimer’s of Sir Terry Pratchett in March of this year there has been much speculation as to whether the series would continue under a different writer. As long ago as 2012 Terry had implied in an article in the New Statesman that that person would be his daughter Rihanna, who is already a writer and had grown up immersed in the series, with access to the source.

However a recent tweet has ended the hopes that some had held.

This leaves ‘The Shepard’s Crown’ – due out in September, as the last chance to visit one of the greatest fantasy worlds in literary history.
